Kohlrabi - The newest 'super food'?!

Kohlrabi is full of iron, magnesium, potassium and fiber! Kohlrabi is a staple ingredient in German cuisine. It has a similar consistency to broccoli stems and is a great addition to any summer dish. This post will outline the different ways that you can cook with Kohlrabi as it has appeared in the two last CCF shares.

Pour this easy and DELICIOUS salad dressing onto your next homemade salad. This recipe was given to use by a shareholder and we tried it and LOVED it! 


Kohlrabi Salad Dressing

What you need: 

1/2 Cup Kohlrabi, chopped

1/2 Jalapeno, minced 

1/4 Cup Scallion, minced

Orange Zest and juice of one Orange 

Lime Zest and juice of one Lime

1/4 Cup Olive Oil

1/4 Cup Honey

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Rice Vinegar


Instructions:

Combine everything in a bowl and serve immediately or refrigerate for later use!
