Spring Smoothie Bowl
Smoothie bowls have been all the rage in the past few years! These bowls usually have a smoothie base and are often topped with nut butter, granola, fruit, honey, dried coconut and any other fun toppings! These bowls are a great breakfast or lunch as they are easy to digest and are totally customizable.
I really like to add protein powder to my smoothie bowls so I stay full for longer. I use the plain Sunwarrior Protein Powder. I also really like to use cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, pomegranate seeds and granola as toppings for my smoothie!
Here’s what I put in my "Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl”
Ingredients:
Smoothie
-1/2 frozen banana
-1/3 Cup strawberries
-1/4 Cup Almond Milk
-1/2 scoop Sunwarrior Protein Powder
Toppings
-1 tbsp cocoa nibs
-1 handful granola
-1/4 Cup Pomegranate Seeds
-2 pinches of coconut flakes
-1 tbsp almond butter
Directions:
1. Blend all smoothie ingredients in a high powered blender.
2. Once combined pour smoothie into a bowl. Top with toppings!
3. Enjoy!!!
